1x handlebar

1x charger

1x instruction manual

2x key to open the battery compartment

If one or more of these items are missing, please contact the seller of the product.

The handlebar of your SO2 is connected to the scooter via the brake cable. Before you can get started with your SO2, you should attach the handlebar as follows:

  1. Operate the fixing lever and bring the steering head into an upright position.
  2. Connect the cable plug of the handlebar to the cable plug of the steering head as illustrated in the two pictures.
  3. Insert the handlebar into the steering head.
  4. Tighten the two screws on both sides with an Allen key.
  5. Make sure that the steering bar is pointing in the right direction.
  6. You can now switch on the unit by pressing and holding the power button.

You should not exceed the maximum weight of 125 kg (including objects you are carrying, e.g. backpack) for using the SO2. A higher load could damage the SO2.

The control electronics of your SO2 continuously carry out checks on the proper functioning of all important components. If your SO2 detects a malfunction, the error message symbol lights up and the word “Alarm” appears on the display. Instead of the mileage, the corresponding error code will be displayed as follows:

  • Err01: Engine fault / Reconnect engine cable or replace engine.
  • Err02: Right throttle fault / Check signal cable or replace throttle lever
  • Err03: Left brake fault / Check signal cable or replace brake lever
  • Err04: Motor blockage / Power supply interrupted, restart unit
  • Err08: Battery low / Charge or replace battery
  • Err10: Error in cable connection / Reconnect connecting cable of handlebar and steering head
  • Err11: Unit fault Replace controller

Stop using the SO2 immediately if the display shows any of these error messages. Switch the unit off and on again. Check the plug connection between the handlebar and the front bar that no contamination is affecting the contacts of the plugs. Make sure that the battery is fully charged. If the error message still persists, contact SoFlow Service using the contact form.

Always store the SO2 in a dry place. If you use the SO2 infrequently, we recommend fully charging the battery once a month to maintain the longevity of the battery and prevent damage. The rate of self-discharge of the battery is faster in cold temperatures (e.g. in winter) than in a warm environment. Never store the unit for long periods in direct sunlight (e.g. not in the boot of a car). The temperature of the SO2 and the battery could otherwise rise to over 50°C, which could cause irreparable damage to the unit or the battery life. At temperatures below -20°C, the battery will also suffer considerable damage.

To avoid rust on the metal parts of your SO2, you should clean and dry the unit after each use. To do this, use a damp sponge and then dry the unit with a towel. Especially the regular cleaning of screws and ball bearings with the appropriate agents increases the life span of the unit. Do not clean the unit with alcohol, petrol or other corrosive cleaning agents. Never use a high-pressure cleaner to clean the unit.

Repairs may only be carried out using original spare parts and by licensed service partners/dealers. Opening the unit or its components and installing non-original components of any kind will result in the immediate forfeiture of the warranty claim.

The SO2 is splash-proof according to IP54 but not waterproof. You may therefore use the SO2 in light rain and drive through shallow puddles on the ground. However, you must never immerse the SO2 in water or expose it permanently to heavy rain, otherwise the electronics may be damaged.
