Who would tap out first in a fight club match: Will Koffel (Y) or Martin Clifford (N)?
It's a good question, actually. Martin's in very good shape, I'm in pretty good shape. But I'm 10 years younger, and he's pretty skinny, at least 20 lbs. lighter than me.
A Fight Club style fight is more a question of mental state, though. We're both quite competitive. I think ultimately Martin would probably outlast me. I think he's a bit more machismo in that regard, and I'd tap out before I got too seriously injured, whereas I think he's go over that dangerous line just on principle to win.
It'd be a fight worth watching, though, you probably wouldn't be disappointed. I'll let you know if we ever come to fisticuffs.

When wis.dm moved to the new article tagging, did they get rid of my prior CSS vandalism?
Not sure which "vandalism" you are referencing. The old HTML comments we left alone. All new ones have stricter filtering on them, so most of the page-breaking CSS that was done before isn't possible now.
Do you think Team Wis.dm is dissatisfied with the type of members this website attracts?
If it wasn't true, I would have just kept my mouth shut, and pretended I didn't see the question. :-)

We're not at all disappointed with our core users. We love the attitude that wis.dm evokes! There are exceptions of course, we all have bad days, but overall it represents the kind of activity we'd hoped for. Just not on the scale we'd hoped.
I don't seem to be seeing google ads now... what happened... it's just the wis.dm donate thing... maybe clicking them...?
In June of 2007, we were featured on the Homepage of Time.com for many days. That created our largest activity spike, over 10x what we have on a regular basis.
The site activity is always driven dramatically by marketing dollars spent to bring users to the site. So it's not really a fair graph to show without overlaying the amount of money spent, which explains most of the peaks and valleys. Because we aren't spending a lot of money now, we're at about 1/5 of the traffic we had when we were doing aggressive marketing.

As crisw pointed out, we get paid when people click on ads. We have way too low a volume of users, and the users that are here often ignore or block ads, so they don't even have a chance to get clicked on. This is the reason that advertising is not a stable business-model these days. Even Facebook can't be profitable on ads alone!
Dear Team WIS.DM, If you shut this down, would you please give us fair warning?
I agree with Russell, you should save them just in case.
But yes, I fully plan that if ever we decide to shutter wis.dm, we will give at least a week's warning, and potentially accommodate backup of content for those who want it. No promises for help backing up the info, but it's a possibility.

Wanna help prove the idea that wis.dm merchandise will fly off the shelves?
So $200 in a week is "fairly confident"? As compared to the bare costs of running the site, that's peanuts. I'm not very confident, but still hope we'll do more than that!!

Any guesses on how much money it delivers in the next week? I'm curious to know peoples' guesses. I think you'll get < $500 in a week, and it'll taper off very quickly after that. But I hope to be proven wrong!

Do you wish there were a "scene" that included ALL questions?
